Capturing the Cornish rooftops of St Ives, Lichen is one of my favourite colourways. I have hand dyed this small batch of Falkland wool yarn in shades of greens, oranges, yellows and browns.

Yarn Weight: DK
Yarn Construction: 3 Ply
100% Falkland Wool
230 Metres Per 100g
Needle/Hook Size: 3.75mm - 4.5mm
WPI: 12 - 18
Care Guide: Do Not Iron, Do Not Tumble Dry, Hand Wash Only. I would always recommend hand washing any hand crafted garment. This yarn can be felted. It is not Superwash.

Hand dyed on a base of pure Falkland wool, this yarn is so squishy and next to the skin soft, perfect for a sweater or cardigan. Falkland wool is the largest form of agriculture on the Falkland islands for over 170 years. Completely free of Organo-Phosphate and Synthetic Pyrethroid sheep dip residues (No sheep dipping is undertaken by Falkland Island farmers). No mulesing takes place. There are over 80 sheep farms on the islands, as they bring in new Merino stock it is creating a finer wool every year. You might be able to tell it is one of my favourites to work with!

Due to my hand dyeing techniques no two skeins are ever the same, sisters not twins. That being said, I list each skein I dye separately so you can choose the exact one you want. You can view more from the same dye bath if you want to create a larger project. I would recommend knitting with two skeins at a time, alternating row by row if you want a more blended look to your garment.

You will receive the skein in the photographs.
I do my best to get accurate representation in my images, but screens do differ.
Any props in the pictures are not included.
I offer a free winding service, if you require your yarn winding into a cake prior to shipping please let me know when you purchase, thank you.
