Printing serendipity

Over the last few months I've been wandering down the rabbit hole of print making. Gel printing mainly. I love the organic textures and colour blending you can achieve.

On Friday my Facebook popped up a post from my local art gallery, Voyager Art Space that they were holding a gel printing workshop Saturday morning as part of the Home grown festival.

So off I went.

I had a fabulous day, very relaxed, experimental. I felt like a child again playing with paints and beautiful foliage.

I now have another excuse to not throw anything away! It can be used in my printing 😍

Unfortunately my car died soon after. Or it's just having a little rest. Fortunately I was in walking distance from home. It's 16 years old so it has served me very well. Just glad I got the shop emptied just in time!
